Metal Gear Solid 4 Review

my fav part of the game was when the camera would spend 2 minutes focusing on the female bosses’  in skin tight suits crawl around on the floor in front of snake, with every frame focusing on their chest or ass.

oh wait sorry that was the worst part of the game.

my fav part of the game was the epilogue that made the more or less finished story make absolutely no sense.

nope sorry my mistake got mixed up again!!!!

my fav part was whenever snake, otacon, and their daughter acted as some sort of bizarre family unit.

No, I’m not bullshitting, I was 100 percent more interested in the daily lives of these three characters then any sort of action the game presented.

Remake mgs2 please!

Happy September 21st.

Completely, unironically one of my favorite songs.

I was told that Unwound’s Leaves Turn Inside You is this (that?) generations Daydream Nation. This is of course impossible, but it does come close.

Staying Home From School - Mark McGuire

Guy from the Ambient group: Emeralds made a solo cassette. Found it floating around the net in mp3 form. Not really the best example of the album (Guitar Meditations), but every other track is over 7 minutes. COOL STUFF DUDER.

Pacific Coast Highway -  Sonic Youth

The bridge of this song, if you can really call it that, is fucking amazing.

When I finally saw SY live, they played a bunch of amazing songs, including my 2 favorite ones as an encore. However, I didn’t eat anything all day so I was kind of in a fugue state. it pains me that I wasn’t completely there for some of the songs played, this one mostly. Hopefully the next time they come to Michigan, they’ll play this, “The Sprawl” and ” ‘Cross the Breeze” again.
